TRAINING

Should you be new in Type3 or current user wishing to improve your skills, we will make sure you reach the level of skills you are looking for. Training classes are available on RouterType, LaserType and 3DESIGN, and each one features hands-on tasks and real-world scenarios. We give you tips & strategies for more productivity. In just a few days, our programs can help you achieve your goals. There are three levels of classes available:
 
 
Standard: It provides an operator-level training during four days. The first two days cover the 2D-2.5D CAD-CAM and the other two days are focused on 3D-Relief Modeling and Machining (for TypeEdit & LaserType). For 3Design, the first three days will be step-by-step tuition, the last day will allow you to focus on your designs. Trainees receive training manual support and a certificate at the end of the session.
 

Advanced:
 Current Type3 users have here the right opportunity to push your Design & Machining skills. Each Advanced session will have a different theme, and will last 2 or 3 days depending of the theme. Please call for more details.
 

Expert:
Our most experienced trainer will take you down to the heart of the software, training you how to run Type3 in Expert mode, how to shortcut some processes and how to make your software tool even more productive. Note: warm up on your months before seating at the session (just kidding). Please call for more details.

TECHNICAL HELP-DESK
 
Once you are trained, it is nice to feel supported through your software experience. Even better when you are in rush-crisis situation!


Made of highly skilled Type3 engineers, Technical Help-Desk team is here for you. Should you not remember something thaught during the training, should you have a specific challenge you are trying to achieve, should you need any advice from our 20-years experience on how-to, just call. Phone         
The Client calls: "Hello, I am trying to sweep profiles between two curves, but the result is up-side-down. Can you help me?"       
Type3 Help desk: "Sure, you just need to click on the arrows on the rails to flip the directions."       
The Client: "Great, it's working. Thanks"
 

Fax
A rough draft is received on our fax one night with the following message from our Client: "I am at a customer site. Can I achieve that with your software?"
In the morning, Technical Help-Desk calls the client on his cell phone: "Yes, and you want to use the weaving feature. Do you need me to take you through the explanation?
The Client: So let me call you when I get back to my office"
 
 

Email  
         
Type3 Client: "Hi, I am looking at replacing my computer. Can you tell me if those specs are OK or can you email me the new Type3 computer requirements?"
Type3 Help Desk: "Hello Cathy, this computer is just great. I have one suggestion though, I don't think it would hurt to add more RAM if possible"
 
Web-Assist     
Type3 Client: Call in "Hi, I have a question for your technical help desk, can they hook up their computer with mine, so I can show them?"
Type3 Help Desk: "Sure, they will call you right back"
A few minutes later, Atlanta-based Engineer is talking to the Client located in Clinton, IA: "I see that you have missed to select this vector. So you click on this one and this one, then you click here to add a tool, and you run it from here". In the meanwhile, the Client is watching his/her screen manipulated by a Type3 Engineer.
